Apple is set to announce the iPhone 16 Pro range during their fall event. There are several changes coming, as Apple continues to evolve its lineup so that it meets the demands of today’s mobile users.
Made for Gamers
Gamers can rejoice in the fact that the new release features the A18 Bionic Chip, which helps to increase the phone’s overall performance when playing demanding titles. Potential improvements include more effective heat management while addressing overheating issues. This is going to benefit every gamer, from those who frequent online casinos to those who play immersive RPGs. With a screen size of 6.1 inches, or 6.7 inches if you opt for the Pro model, this provides gamers with the chance to play their favorite titles without compromise. The bigger screen size lends itself very well to slot games and live roulette, making it easier to see the information on the screen while enabling seamless gestures, such as pinching, scrolling and flicking when using online casino NJ websites. With gaming in the US on the rise, and with New Jersey seeing exponential growth in mobile gaming overall, it’s no surprise that the new iPhone contains several gamer-friendly features.
Action Button Upgrades
The Action button could be added to the standard model as well. There have been a lot of rumors lately regarding whether or not the action button could be mechanical or capacitive. Apple has since confirmed that it is going to be mechanical. Users can also expect changes to the external case design. According to rumors, Apple could be adding an additional button, which will serve as a “capture” button. Outside of these changes, and the overall change in size, the lineup is set to look similar to that of the iPhone 15 range.
Apple rarely makes significant design changes, so Dynamic Islands and flat sides are expected across every model. Right now, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the only one within the range to have the Tetraprism lens. This lens helps to take the telephoto length from 3x to 5x from the camera. Even though the iPhone 15 Pro doesn’t have this feature, it’s possible that the 16 Pro will. A lot of this comes down to the size increase, which could have been done to accommodate the Tetraprism lens.
Apple’s push for an Ultra Wide HD camera is going to benefit photos that are taken in 0.5x mode, or macro. One major reason for the upgrade however is spatial video capture. When shooting 3D video with an iPhone, you will need to rely on the Main Camera or the Ultra Side Camera. The upgrade could mean that the iPhone can take footage from 12MP to 48MP, a huge increase in quality. It’s also possible that the iPhone 16 Pro is going to use molded glass lenses, in an attempt to reduce bump thickness while increasing magnification distance.
Even though a lot of information is set to be released in the coming months, speculation is rife and it’s only a matter of time before we find out for sure, what the new features are going to be.
